Weekend weather: Slight chance of rain on Easter weekend, rising Sunday night

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – There’s a slight chance of showers over the weekend, but with any luck it will hold off until Sunday night.

The chance of showers and storms is 20% Saturday night, according to the National Weather Service. The chance of showers is 40% on Sunday, but mainly after 1 p.m. The chance of showers rises to 60% Sunday night.

  • Friday: Partly sunny, with a high near 82. South wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
  • Friday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 67. South wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
  • Saturday: A slight chance of showers between 1pm and 4pm, then a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 4pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 83. South southwest wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
  • Saturday night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 65. South wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
  • Sunday: A 40 percent chance of showers, mainly after 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 81. South wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
  • Sunday night: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 58. South wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
