Weekend weather: After Friday morning, clear and sunny days ahead in Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – We have a chance of storms Friday morning, but otherwise this looks to be a fantastic weekend.

Friday night and Saturday will be clear, according to the National Weather Service. Highs will be around 80 and lows around 60.

That should hold true Sunday as well, but there’s a slight chance of afternoon and evening showers.

Here’s the day-by-day outlook:

  • Friday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 2pm. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 74. Northwest wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
  • Friday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 59. West wind around 5 mph.
  • Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 82. West northwest wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
  • Saturday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 61. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
  • Sunday: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms between 1pm and 4pm, then a slight chance of showers after 4pm. Sunny, with a high near 81. West southwest wind around 5 mph becoming north northwest in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
  • Sunday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 59. North northeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm.
