Update, 12:01 p.m.: The latest forecast now shows Clarksville could get up to 2 inches of snow accumulation, according to the NWS.

At noon, snow was falling in downtown.

Previously:

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – We could see slick roads today with up to an inch of accumulation from snow and sleet.

Montgomery and surrounding counties are under a Winter Weather Advisory from 3 p.m. today until 3 a.m. Monday morning, according to the National Weather Service.

“Expect slick roads and travel impacts in many areas Monday morning,” the advisory said.

Light sleet was falling in parts of Clarksville at 11:30 a.m.

Here’s the day-by-day outlook for the coming week.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy. A 50 percent chance of light snow in the evening. Snow accumulation up to 1 inch. Total snow accumulation up to 2 inches. Lows in the mid 20s. North winds 10 to 15 mph.

Monday: Partly cloudy in the morning then clearing. Highs in the upper 30s. North winds up to 10 mph.

Monday night: Clear. Lows in the lower 20s. East winds up to 5 mph shifting to the southeast after midnight.

Tuesday: Sunny. Highs around 50. South winds up to 10 mph increasing to 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon.

Tuesday night: Partly cloudy in the evening then becoming mostly cloudy. Lows in the upper 30s.

Wednesday and Wednesday night: Mostly cloudy. Highs around 50. Lows in the mid 20s.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy with a 40 percent chance of light snow. Highs in the lower 30s.

Thursday night: Mostly cloudy in the evening then becoming partly cloudy. Lows around 12.

Friday: Partly cloudy. Highs in the upper 20s.

Friday night and Saturday: Not as cool. Mostly clear. Lows around 18. Highs in the upper 40s.
