UPDATE: Motorcycle rider critically injured in crash on Peachers Mill Road

Update, 5 p.m.: The motorcyclist was taken by LifeFlight to a Nashville hospital.

The roadway is back open.

Previously:

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Peachers Mill Road was shut down by a motorcycle crash Monday afternoon.

At abput 3:42 p.m., Clarksville Police were working a single motorcycle crash at Peachers Mill Road and Allen Griffey Road, according to police spokesman Scott Beaubien.

Peachers Mill was completely shut down and motorists were advised to find an alternate route. Investigators with the Fatal Accident Crash Team are en route to work the crash.

No further information was immediately released.
