PEMBROKE, Ky. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Kentucky State Police is continuing the investigation in the November 2015 murders of three people in Pembroke, Ky.

On November 19, 2015, the remains of Pamela Phillips and Ed Dansereau were discovered in a burnt vehicle in a field on Rosetown Road in the Pembroke area. Investigators determined that Dansereau and Phillips suffered gun shot wounds that caused their deaths.

Also on November 19, 2015, the body of Calvin Phillips was discovered inside his residence located on South Main Street in Pembroke.

Mrs. Phillips was the wife of Calvin Phillips, the third victim found shot to death in the cellar of 443 S. Main Street, and Dansereau was their neighbor.

Calvin Phillips was listed as a witness for the prosecution and the defense in the case of Maj. Christian Martin, who is charged with sexual assault and mishandling classified information.

Army Lt. Col. Chevelle Thomas said Phillips was on the prosecution’s list of potential witnesses, and defense attorney Bill Summers said Phillips was going to testify on Dec. 1 in his client’s defense.

KSP is requesting anyone with information on who is responsible for these murders to call KSP Post 2 at 270-676-3313.
