CLARKSVILLE, Tenn (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Austin Peay State University held their summer 2019 commencement ceremony today, August 9 at the Dunn Center. Over 400 graduates received degrees.

This year’s commencement address was given by Judge Kathryn Wall Olita. The circuit court judge recounted the steps in her life and education that led her to where she is today and encouraged the new graduates to push forward without fear of failure.

After students received their degrees, Lieutenant Colonel Eric Westphal, Professor of Military Science, administered the U.S. Army Oath of Office to six ROTC cadets.
