Northeast High Disaster Relief Center moving to new location, FEMA relocating as well

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Northeast High School Multi-Agency Disaster Relief Center is set to close at 2 p.m. today after being open since the day of the tornado, Dec. 9.

As the relief center closes, donations that remain on-site will be distributed to local agencies and the coordinated Clarksville-Montgomery County warehouse space, according to a CMCSS news release.

The Red Cross Shelter will be moving from Northeast High to Park Lane Church of the Nazarene, 225 Cunningham Lane, which is expected to open at 2 p.m. today.

Over 500 CMCSS employee volunteers and numerous partners have served thousands of community members in need with tens of thousands of meals, donation and services, according to the news release.

CMCSS thanked World Central Kitchen and Macedonian Missionary Service for providing meals during these trying times, and each service is expected to serve their final meals at Northeast High today.
