Man who stole wire spools and grass seed from Lowes in Clarksville wanted by police

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Authorities are searching for an individual believed to be involved in a reported theft of property from a local home improvement store.

Clarksville Police said in a news release that an individual loaded several spools of wire into a tote on March 17 at Lowes, 2150 Lowes Drive, and left without paying for the items.

CPD said loss prevention officers reviewed the video security cameras and gave the images to the Clarksville Police Department. Officers said the suspect also grabbed a large bag of grass seed as he was exiting the facility. The value of the items taken was said to be $1611.00.

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual in the photos.
