CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Calling all coffee lovers, whether your preference is iced or hot, pumpkin spice or not, there are plenty of places in Clarksville to grab a cup of Joe.

Yes, there are seven Starbucks locations in town, but there are also a variety of interesting local options, ranging from third-wave pour-over coffee at Plumb Line to the combo gamer/coffee shop Respawn. Here are the coffee shops of Clarksville.

Black Rifle Coffee Company: Black Rifle Coffee Company made its home in Tennessee this past summer. Their mission statement is, “Black Rifle Coffee Company serves coffee and culture to people who love America.” They import coffee beans from Colombia and Brazil and roast five days a week at their facilities in Manchester, Tennessee, and Salt Lake City, Utah. They are located at 2570 Wilma Rudolph Blvd. and are open all week.

Cole’s Coffee: This hidden treasure is located at 741 Madison St. in Suite B. Not only do they offer a delicious arrangement of hot and iced coffees as well as boba, but they also have the most precious fishy friend, Polly. They are open Monday through Saturday.

Founding Frothers Coffee: This veteran-owned coffee shop, located at 124 Strawberry Alley, mixes its brews with a bit of history. They have a different special every month to commemorate a founding father with facts about them on the cup sleeves. They also offer an assortment of Red Bull blasts and flavored lemonades. Come start your day with them every day starting at 7:30 a.m.

GetSome Coffee: This coffee shop located at 3862 Trenton Road has a quaint atmosphere and friendly faces.

Lasater’s Coffee & Tea: This local, family-owned chain has expanded to include two locations in Cleveland, Tennessee. Their beans are custom-roasted at the Lasater’s warehouse and roasting headquarters in Clarksville. In addition to coffee, they offer single-origin teas from Rishi Tea, plus food and treats. The five Lasater’s locations are at 589 S. Riverside Drive; 2250 Wilma Rudolph Blvd., Suite O; 894 Highway 76, Suite 101; 651 Dunlop Lane; and 503 Heritage Pointe Drive. They’re open every day but Sundays.

Mugsy’s Coffee: This veteran-owned coffee company has two locations at 620 Dunlop Lane and at 3291 Fort Campbell Blvd. Their goal is to be a home away from home for their customers, or just a really great place to grab a coffee.

Plumb Line Coffee: Their name refers to the construction tool used to create a straight line by which everything else is measured. That applies to their mission to bring a standard of excellence to every cup. The coffee beans they roast are part of the third-wave coffee movement, and they user Clarksville’s first and only Synesso Hydra Espresso machine. Among their offerings are pour-over coffees and lattes with made-in-house syrups. They are located at 124 University Ave. and are open every day.

Ravenwood Coffee & Creations: This veteran-owned coffee shop sells its own locally roasted blend of coffee, and they make all of their own syrups and flavorings while staying away from artificial flavors and preservatives. Herbal teas with natural and organic ingredients are also on their menu. At the shop, they also highlight local artists featuring handmade stickers, crochet items, drawings, wood burnings, and much more. They are also animal friendly and encourage you to grab a pup cup or some dog treats while you are in. They are at 2609 Fort Campbell Blvd., Suite B, and they are open every day.

Respawn Coffee CompanyThis veteran-owned coffee shop and gamer cafe opened at the end of last year at 208 Segler Drive in Oak Grove, Kentucky. Their menu includes hot and iced coffee beverages as well as boba. You can grab a coffee and rent a private PC or VR room for your caffeinated gaming pleasure. They’re open seven days a week.
