3 dogs killed in fire on Crabtree Circle in Clarksville | VIDEO

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Three dogs were killed in a house fire on Crabtree Circle in south Clarksville Saturday night.

The fire started around 9:30 p.m., and was mainly in the basement, but it spread to the main floor as well, according to Clarksville Fire Rescue Assistant Chief Michael Rios.

All occupants escaped safely after being alerted by a neighbor. Three dogs were lost in the fire. No other injuries were reported, Rios said.

Stations 1 and 4 responded. The cause is under investigation.
