CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – One person was killed and another injured in a shooting Tuesday afternoon just west of Clarksville.
At about 4:25 p.m., Montgomery County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a home in the 1500 block of Parkside Drive, west of Purple Heart Parkway, in response to a shooting incident, according to MCSO.
Two people were involved. One died at the scene and another was transported to a Nashville hospital.
The scene was secured, and there is no danger to the public, MCSO said.
MCSO Sgt. Bishop Delaney said no further information would be released.
