It may be hard to believe but it’s that time of year again. Kids will be going back to school here in Montgomery County two weeks from today which means it is time for TAX FREE WEEKEND! The back to school tax holiday is going to be going on July the 29th-31st.  The tax exemption applies to the following.

  • Clothing under 100 dollars
  • School Supplies under 100 dollars
  • Computers 1500 dollars or less

So if your frugal like me and have been holding off on getting that new laptop or upgrading the kids wardrobe, now is the chance. Plus you can help some local businesses in the process. It’s a win win. you can read more details on the tax free weekend HERE.
