The Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library beings another fun summer of reading with its Touch-A-Truck event, which will take place on June 3rd from 10 am to 2 pm. This free family-friendly event will allow children and adults to explore a variety of vehicles, including fire trucks, police cars, construction equipment, a helicopter, and more. Touch-A-Truck is a unique opportunity for children to see, touch, and even climb aboard the vehicles that they may see on the road every day. The Library will also be collecting pet supplies to benefit Montgomery County Animal Care and Control.
In addition to exploring the vehicles, attendees can speak with the drivers and learn more about their jobs. The day’s activities will also include games, crafts, and giveaways. Local food trucks will be on-site to provide lunch and refreshments.
Visitors will also have a chance to preview and register for the 2023 Summer Reading Program, “All Together Now” aims to inspire everyone to explore different cultures and celebrate diversity through books and fun activities.
The Touch-A-Truck will be held at Veteran’s Plaza in front of your Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library. For more information, please contact your public library at 931-648-8826 or visit Clarksville.org.
