March Teacher of the Month Rules


BEAVER 100.3 February 2013 TEACHER OF THE MONTH OFFICIAL RULES

1. Through 11:59PM on March 31, 2013, Beaver 100.3 will accept entries for our ‘March Teacher of the Month ‘contest. The contest is officially sponsored by Sylvan Learning Center.

2. One nominated teacher will win a $30 gift card for O’Charley’s Bar and Grill.

3. To nominate an elementary, middle/junior or high school teacher, you must go to the contest page at beaver1003.com and complete the necessary registration process which includes submitting a description of the teacher you would like to nominate. All teachers nominated must be employed and 18 or older. From the approved entries, a random drawing will be conducted by station personnel to select the winner. The winner will be selected on April 1, 2013 by station personnel.

4. Only one entry per person. One winner per family and household. The term family shall include spouses, parents, children, grandparents, grandchildren, and co-habituating significant others. Winners may not win another prize from BEAVER 100.3 for a period of 90 days.

5. All entrants agree that their name, voice, photograph, video, character and likeness and entry may be used by BEAVER 100.3 for promotional purposes. Winner must waive any claim of royalty and right ofremuneration for such use.

6. All winners assume financial obligations for state and federal taxes and all fees.

7. The contest is open to those who hold a valid article of state identification and are 18 years of age or older and those 18 or older with a valid military I.D., with the exception of full or part time employees of SAGA Communications (which includes BEAVER 100.3), and their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, other radio stations, and members of their immediate families.

8. WVVR is not responsible for computer or internet difficulties. Contestants may be required to show proof of registration. If you’re listening to the internet stream of this station, programming may be delayed affecting contest participation.

9. BEAVER 100.3 reserves the right to disqualify any winner if the contest rules have been violated in any way.

10. BEAVER 100.3 cannot be held liable and shall have no responsibility for failure to win or claim any prize based on delays, omissions, oversights, or failure of the US Postal Service or allegations of telephone, computer, or internet difficulties. In the case of a dispute, winner may be required to provide proof of registration.

11. As a licensee of the FCC and a trustee of the public airwaves, BEAVER 100.3 reserves the right to interrupt and/or discontinue any contest or promotion (and not award the offered prize) at the discretion of BEAVER 100.3 management if world events, the national mood, or public safety so warrant.

12. No purchase necessary to participate of win. Void where prohibited by law. Decisions of BEAVER 100.3 are final.

13. In the event the winner is subject to or the subject of any order or legal process issued by any governmental agency having jurisdiction over the affairs of the winner (e.g. garnishment, child support order, judgment, lien and the like), BEAVER 100.3’s delivery of the prize to the official representative of the governmental entity claiming a right to the prize shall be deemed to be the award of the prize to the winner. BEAVER 100.3 shall be entitled to rely in good faith upon any documents presented by the representatives seeking to collect the prize in lieu of the winner. BEAVER 100.3 shall not be liable for any claim by winner for damages incidental thereto.
