Beginning at 2:30pm on September 16, 2013 through 11:59AM on September 20, 2013, you can attempt win 2 tickets to see Chris Young at the Grand Ole Opry on October 8. Five qualifiers will each receive one pair of tickets to the show, a copy of Chris Young’s A.M. CD and be qualified to win access to a backstage pre-show acoustic performance from Chris Young the night of the show. Tickets valued at $45 each and Chris Young’s A.M. CD valued at $12 for a total prized value of $102. The contest is open to those who hold a valid article of state identification and are 18 years of age or older.
To attempt to qualify, one must listen for the contest cue to call. When it’s mentioned, the 10th person to call 270-697-1003 or 877-999-9887 will be named a qualifier and win a pair of tickets to the show. A random drawing will be conducted by station personnel on September 20, 2013 to determine the winner of the access to the backstage acoustic performance form Chris Young. WVVR contests are open to those 18 or older have not won anything on WVVR in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.
Employees of WVVR, SAGA COMMUNICATIONS OF TUCKESSEE, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the WVVR main studio are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.
