For the first time since 2008, Carrie Underwood is joined by someone other than Brad Paisley on the CMA Awards stage. The Country Music Association announced on Monday, August 19 that Carrie Underwood would be hosting the 53rd CMA Award show with two special guests:

Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton

That’s right, y’all! Three of the most powerful and influential women in country music are joining together for this year’s award show, and we can’t wait!

CMA made the announcement on Twitter Monday morning. Reba and Dolly followed the announcement with excitement. “I’m so excited to be joining @carrieunderwood and @reba to celebrate the legendary women of country music as a guest host of this year’s #CMAawards on November 13,” Parton said on Twitter.

Between them, the three hosts hold 124 CMA Awards nominations and 22 total wins, 11 for Female Vocalist of the Year.

This is the first year that Brad Paisley will not be joining Carrie Underwood. They hosted the show together for 11 years. Their run of hosting the show only falls second to Vince Gill’s 12 years. Paisley has not made a public announcement of the news yet.

The final nominees for the 2019 CMA Awards will be released on Good Morning America August 28. Check back on the Beaver 100.3 for a full list after the announcement.
