Lady Antebellum Leads AMC Awards Nominations
Country trio Lady Antebellum will lead the way at the 2010 Academy of Country Music Awards after landing seven top nominations.
The band's self-titled disc will compete for Album of the Year, while their hit single Need You Now has garnered five mentions on its own, including Song of the Year, Video of the Year and Single Record.
Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert have each received six nominations - their releases Play On and Revolution respectively are in the running for Album of the Year - while Taylor Swift is up for five awards.
All three songstresses will fight it out for the Top Female Vocalist prize, along with Reba McEntire and Lee Ann Womack, while the male category will be a battle between artists including Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley and Keith Urban.
Chesney, Urban, Underwood and Swift are also among the nominees for the prestigious Entertainer of the Year award.
Meanwhile, Brooks & Dunn, who will end their professional partnership when their tour wraps in August, are up for one final ACM celebration after being nominated for Top Vocal Duo.
The winners will be unveiled on April 18 when the 45th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards takes place in Las Vegas.
