This weekend, Tuckessee Outdoor Expo celebrates all things outdoors


CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW.COM) – The Tuckessee Outdoor Expo returns to the Wilma Rudolph Event Center in Clarksville July 30 & 31 celebrating all things outdoors.

Tennessee and Southern Kentucky offer some of the best hunting and fishing in North America, and this event offers two full days of shows, seminars and demonstrations on hunting, fishing, water sports, camping and more.

Highlights of the event include:

Smoky Mountain Dock Dogs

For dogs that love the water, Smoky Mountain Dock Dogs will demonstrate why dock diving is a growing trend in performance sports for pets. Featured on ESPN and The Outdoor Channel, dock diving includes long jumps, high jumps and speed retrieving for water dogs and is a mesmerizing spectator sport for animal lovers.

DOCK DOGS

Smoky Mountain DockDogs is the first club in Tennessee to affiliate with DockDogs of Ohio, the independent governing and sanctioning body for regional, national and international dock jumping performance sports.

Dog owners may enter pets in the competition on the organization website or register on-site at the event.

Alligator Alley

This demonstration by Alligator Alley Farm gives you the opportunity to touch, hold and pose with a predator species that dates back 150 million years.

Gators ranging from 2 to 6′ in length will be on hand and gator handlers will bring other interesting specimens such as skulls, teeth and scutes.

Animal-lovers will enjoy an educational demonstration by National History Educational Company of the Midsouth that brings exciting, action-packed live shows to events. The Tuckessee Outdoor show will include:
